NCS-EDI at a glance

NCS-EDI exchanges business documents with your partners in a structured way. Incoming messages are read, validated and created as SAP documents; outgoing documents are produced from SAP and transmitted. Every message is recorded in the journal and stays traceable.

What is this for?

  • Process EDIFACT/EANCOM messages – among them ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC and APERAK.
  • Produce and receive e-invoices in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung format.
  • Transmit via AS2 or SFTP, alternatively through monitored folders (hot folders).
  • Log every exchange in the journal and restart deliberately after failures.

How to set it up

  1. Create the partner first – it defines syntax, channel and identifiers.
  2. Then define the message types per partner.
  3. Maintain the code lists so partner values translate to your own.
  4. Monitor operations through the journal and errors.
